Naznin Sultana Remex is a Ph.D. candidate of department of molecular and cellular physiology in Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, Shreveport. Her current research project is to focus on the novel molecular roles of a very interesting chaperone protein, Sigmar1, in vascular endothelial cells function under physiological condition and during pathological progression of vascular diseases. She has published two first-author and several co-author papers in different peer-reviewed journals from her Ph.D. training under the supervision of Dr. Md Shenuarin Bhuiyan at LSUHS-Shreveport. by doing so, she has gained hands-on training in different functional, molecular, and biochemical techniques used in basic cardiovascular field of research. Naznin has received her bachelor's degree from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and a master's degree from Missouri University of Science and Technology. Naznin's academic standing is good till date with maintaining a perfect GPA in bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. training. She has tremendous interest in cardiovascular biology, molecular biology, molecular genetics, vascular biology, and cardiovascular disease research. Naznin sees herself as an independent researcher in a renowned top-notch research institute in future.
