Mohammad Ashjaei (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in computer science and engineering from Mälardalen University, Sweden, in November 2016. He was a Visiting Researcher with the University of Aveiro, Portugal, for a period of one month, in 2013. He is currently a Senior Lecturer with the School of Innovation, Design and Engineering, Mälardalen University. His main research interests include real-time distributed systems, scheduling algorithms, resource management and reservation, cloud computing, reservation mechanisms in cloud computing, and admission controls.
