Mirko Presser

Mirko Presser is a researcher in the Mobile Group of the Center for Communication and Systems Research at the University of Surrey. He received an M. S. degree in physics with astrophysics from the University of Bristol in 2001, and in 2002 he received his M.S. with commendation in communication systems and signal processing, also from the University of Bristol. During this time he had a project placement with Motorola (Swindon), working on wideband channel analysis and modeling for UMTS WCDMA. Since October 2002 he has been working toward his Ph.D. in the Mobile Group of CCSR at the University of Surrey. Within his research interests are adaptive MAC and RRM strategies for PANs, cross-layer optimization, and the broader research area of UWB communications systems.
