My research interest blends Si-based light source, interface science, doping, and multiscale characterization science. Basic investigations include: 1. high stacking density of Si-NCs; 2. passivation of non-radiative states at the Si-NCs/SiO2 interface; 3. effective coupling of the emitter with high quality factor and small mode volume microdisk resonator; 4. electrically activated doping in Si-NCs; 5. intense white light emitting by introducing luminescence centers.
