Miguel Angel Rodríguez Pérez is a Full Professor of the Condensed Physics Department of the University of Valladolid in Spain.
Some of his developments in the cellular materials field have resulted in several patents, (11 patents) from which three of them are currently under exploitation. In other cases, the projects ruled by him have given as a result products that are nowadays commercial in several countries.
Professor Rodriguez-Pérez’s Laboratory has received three awards in the last 10 years. These awards recognize the high quality of the research activities performed in CellMat Laboratory and the high level of innovation that he, has head of the Laboratory is keen to maintain.
His international prestige has allowed him to become a member of the Boards of Directors in the Foams and Thermoplastics division of the SPE (Society of Plastic Engineers) as well as to be a member of the two JCR journals that are exclusively focused on polymeric cellular materials: Cellular Polymers and Journal of Cellular Polymers.
