Prof Sabel is engaged in teaching an d training and has established multiple international hands on courses.

He has authored multiple books on IONM, training for Braintumor surgery and work life balance in the residency programs.

He is lead investigator in the Phase II GlioVAX trial, which investigates dendritic cell based vaccination against primary GBM. He has authored 176 peer reviewed paper with a current h-index of 53.
