Bio

I have completed a Bachelor of Science (Hons class I) majoring in Marine Biology. My honours was focused on the life history and demography of silky sharks in the central west Pacific region. The project was supervised by Prof. Colin Simpfendorfer and Dr. Andrew Chin. I am currently enrolled in a PhD at James Cook University studying the conservation and distribution of freshwater/euryhaline elasmobranchs in Papua New Guinea with a focus on sawfish (Pristidae sp.) and river sharks (Glyphis sp.). My candidature is supervised my Dr. Andrew Chin, Prof. Colin Simpfendorfer, Dr. William White (CSIRO) and Dr. Peter Kyne (CDU)
