I am a research hydrologist at the USDA-ARS Hydrology and Remote Sensing Laboratory in Beltsville, MD. As part of my research program, I lead field experimentation for remote sensing missions such as AMSR-E, Windsat, and SMAP. These experiments included SMEX02, SMEX03, SMEX04 SMEX05, CLASIC07, SMAPVEX08, SMAPVEX15, SMAPVEX16, and SMAPVEX19-22. I am currently chair of the Land Product Validation Subgroup for CEOS-WGCV. I also have served on the USDA Remote Sensing Coordination Committee since 2008, and am currently a representative to the US Group on Earth Observations for USDA.
