个人简介
Michaël Gauthier received the Ph.D. degree in automation and robotics from the Université de Franche Comté, Besançon, France, in 2002.
Since 2000, he has been a CNRS Senior Scientist with the FEMTO-ST Institute, Besançon, works in the field of micro-nanorobotics and has proposed, modeled, and experimented new robotics tools for microhandling, micromanipulation, and microassembly in several European and National projects. He is the President of the French–Swiss Alliance between FEMTO-ST and EPFL, named SMYLE. From 2012 to 2016 and from 2016 to 2019, he was the Head of the micro-nanorobotics Department in FEMTO-ST and Vice-Director of FEMTO-ST Institute, respectively. He is also the Cofounder of the spin-off Percipio Robotics providing microassembly platforms for industrial applications. He has authored two books, more than 50 papers, and 60 conference talks.
