Bio
Michael D. Fleischauer received the B.Sc. degree in physics from the University of Guelph, Guelph, ON, Canada, in 2001, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in physics from Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS, Canada, in 2003 and 2005, respectively.
He is currently an Associate Research Officer and the Energy Program Co-Ordinator with the National Research Council Canada's Nanotechnology Research Centre, Edmonton, AB, Canada. He is also an Adjunct Professor of physics with the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada. His research and development topics span a wide range of energy conversion and storage technologies, including nanostructured thin films for organic photovoltaics, fuel cell catalysts, and rechargeable and primary batteries, with a focus on automated/high throughput methods.
