Michael Catt

Michael Catt is currently a Professor of Practice with the Institute of Neuroscience, Newcastle University, Newcastle Upon Tyne, U.K. He has been the Program Director of the Unilever Corporate Research Healthy Ageing Program since 2005 and had formerly been the Head of New Technology at Unilever’s Consumer and Clinical in vitro Diagnostics Company, Unipath. He contributed core IPR and managed the “persona” and “clearplan” instrument development through to successful production and subsequent market support. His current interests focus on the development of in-vitro diagnostics and non-invasive lifestyle measurement for improved lifestyle management. He is also the Director of the National Innovation Centre for Ageing.
