I currently work as a Staff Scientist in the Sosnick lab in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at The University of Chicago. My primary focus is the biophysical principles that underlie protein folding and dynamics. This includes characterizing the transition state of folding through the use of metal binding residue sites (psi analysis) as well as identifying other intermediates through hydrogen exchange. Our most recent publication is 'Perplexing cooperative folding and stability of a low-sequence complexity, polyproline 2 protein lacking a hydrophobic core'
