个人简介
J. Michael Bodeau (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. (Eng.) degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA, in 1975, and the M.S.E.E. degree in electrophysics from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, USA, in 1990.
He was previously a Technical Fellow II with Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, Redondo Beach, CA, a Senior Technical Fellow with Boeing, El Segundo, CA, and a Chief Technologist with Hughes Space and Communications, El Segundo. He is currently a consultant. He has over 40 years of experience in spacecraft design and space environmental interactions. He has authored over 25 articles and presentations in the IEEE, AIAA, and AGU journals, and specialty conferences. He holds five U.S. patents.
Mr. Bodeau was an Invited Speaker with NOAA’s Space Weather Week, the 2007 Space Weather Enterprise Forum, and the AGU’s 2012 Fall Session, and was a contributing author to the 2008 U.S. National Research Council Report: Severe Space Weather Events-Understanding Societal and Economic Impacts: Workshop Report and the 2021 AGU monograph 262, Space Weather Effects and Applications.
