Meghna Krishnadas

I am an ecologist and my research is focused on understanding the mechanisms that structure ecological communities. Using plant communities, I explore fundamental questions of why species occur where they do, what processes shape whether they are common or rare, and how multiple species coexist in a given frame of space and time. I apply these concepts to understand how human modification of ecosystems affects the structure of ecological communities.
