M. I. S. Ismail is currently a Senior Lecturer with the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Serdang, Malaysia, Malaysia. He has authored over 70 technical papers in national and international journals/conferences. He has consultation with different journals and conferences related to mechanical engineering and material processing. His research interests include non-traditional machining, process modeling and simulation, and intelligent manufacturing. Mr. Ismail has been a member of the Malaysian Tribology Society, the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the European Scientific Association for Material Forming.
