Dr. Michael McKenna is a neurotologic surgeon with more than 25 years of experience in otolaryngology and neurotology. His clinical practice focuses on otology, neurotology, and skull base surgery. Seeing more than two hundred patients per year with acoustic neuromas and other skull base tumors, his experiences have resulted in numerous clinical publications and invited presentations.
Throughout his career, Dr. McKenna has focused his research on understanding the pathophysiology and pathogenesis of otosclerosis, a bone disease of the human otic capsule that is amongst the most common causes of hearing loss in the general population. He is also actively engaged in research on inner ear drug delivery.
