Maximilian Reuter received the Ph.D. degree in physics from Freie Universität Berlin, Berlin, Germany, in 2005. He was a member with the Institute for Space Sciences, Freie Universität Berlin. In 2006, he was with the Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD), Offenbach, Germany, where he worked in the Satellite Application Facility on Climate Monitoring Division. Since 2007, he has been a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Institute of Environmental Physics (IUP), Universität Bremen, Bremen, Germany. His research interests are radiative transfer modeling and satellite remote sensing of clouds and greenhouse gases.
