Bio

Maurice Tucker currently works at the School of Earth Sciences, University of Bristol. Maurice does research in carbonate sedimentology and diagenesis. He has several projects on the go - including: the role of viruses in carbonate precipitation, microbialites, the Permian (Zechstein) of NE England and North Sea, limestones of Montserrat collected by ROV (with Steve Sparks), Jurassic oolites and Bath stone used by the Romans, tufa - NE England and elswhere.
