Matthias Jaunich

I work at the Bundesanstalt fur Materialforschung und -prufung (BAM) in Department 3 Containment Systems for Dangerous Goods, Division 3.4 Safety of Storage Containers. In this division I am responsible for the research oriented workgroup. Our research is focused on the investigation of ageing effects on container components (e.g. rubber and metal seals) and inventory (e.g. fuel cladding). This requires an understanding of the material behavior and the performance of components.
