Dr. Matthias Barz is Full Professor for Biotherapeutic Delivery at the Leiden Academic Center for Drug Research (LACDR). Matthias does research in Polymer Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Nanomedicine. The Barz lab has introduced poylpept(o)ides to the field of polymer science and biomaterials and develops fucntional systems for drug and gene delivery based on these materials.
