Bio
My research interests are focused on understanding how environmental agents, (i.e. small molecules or metals) impact and influence mitochondrial function in human platelets and lung cells. To address this question, I am using mass spectrometry (metabolomics, chemical profiling, and metal analysis) in conjunction with extracellular flux and bioinformatics to determine novel associations with mitochondrial regulation in these cells.
