Bio

Matthew McCormick (S’10) received the B.S. degree in biomedical engineering from Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI, in 2005, and the M.S. degree in 2008 in biomedical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree. His current research interests include signal processing for ultrasound strain image and high-frequency ultrasound tissue characterization. These techniques are applied toward stroke prevention by characterizing carotid artery plaques.
