Matthew Stone

Matthew J. Stone is Associate Professor of Marketing at California State University, Chico. He is research advisor for the World Food Travel Association and lead author of Food Travel Monitor and State of the Food Travel Industry reports. He is a leading researcher in culinary tourism, food tourism, gastronomy tourism, and beer tourism. In 2019, he was a Fulbright Scholar at Haaga-Helia University in Helsinki, Finland. He has taught internationally in Finland, Austria, Italy, and Lithuania.
