Marta Suarez-Fernandez

I study microorganism-plant interactions. I have previously worked on determining epigenetic mechanisms regulating effector gene expression in Zymoseptoria tritici, a wheat pathogen, during infection; and on the study of the tritrophic lifestyle of the biological control agent fungus Pochonia chlamydosporia (saprophyte, nematophagous and endophyte), and its interactions with chitosan.
