Marius is a Chief Scientist of Teamnet Group, one of the most important IT&C integrators in the region, a position gained through the development of magnitude projects with impact on society. In Teamnet, Marius is coordinating a team of young researches who are developing automatic object recognition for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.

    His research in recent years focuses on computer vision and machine learning, with contributions to learning and optimization for graph matching and probabilistic graphical models, object category recognition, tracking, 3D modeling of urban scenes, optical flow, activity recognition and boundary detection. Marius experience is acknowledged by Carnegie Mellon University from where he holds a Ph.D. title in Robotics, by the Institute of Mathematics of the Romanian Academy where he works as a researcher and by University Politehnica of Bucharest, where he is Associate Professor.
