个人简介
Marianna Semprini got a BS in Biomedical Engineering in 2004 and a MS in Neuroengineering in 2007, both from University of Genoa, Italy. In 2011 she received a PhD in Robotics, Neurosciences and Nanotechnologies from Italian Institute of Technology, Italy. During her PhD, she investigates the role of sensory feedback in in vivo closed-loop Brain Machine Interfaces, she also studied the response properties of cortical neurons and worked on optimal decoding of the information carried by neural signals. M. Semprini is interested in neuroprostheses able to restore sensory or motor functions when missing and in rehabilitation of human patients.
