个人简介
Mariangela Rapisarda received the M.Sc. degree in telecommunications engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, in 2017, and the Ph.D. degree in information technology with the thesis “Metro network capacity increase via innovative photonic technologies and communication systems” in 2021. From 2017 to 2021, she was involved in “PASSION Project” financed by the EU H2020 program dealing with the development of new flexible and scalable photonic technologies for access and metro network applications. To this purpose, she spent three months with the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in 2019, focusing on the modeling of metro network nodes and in particular of semiconductor optical amplifiers. From January 2021 to July 2021, she received a research grant to complete her studies on 100 km fiber-optics networks based on VCSEL-based transmitters and coherent receivers. Furthermore, her research activity has included the investigation of molecular communications in micrometer-environments.
