Mariana Miranda

I currently works at the IDIM Instituto de Investigaciones Medicas, National Scientific and Technical Research Council, University of Buenos Aires. My research is focused in the study of enzymes that participate in the energy metabolism and in metabolite transport processes of the human pathogen Trypanosoma cruzi as potential target for pharmacologic intervention. Nucleoside diphoshate kinases and amino acid and polyamine transporters are the main proteins currently being studied.
