Marek Ostaszewski received the PhD degree in computer science from the University of Luxembourg, in 2010, in the area of metaheuristics for network traffic analysis. He is a scientist with the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB). In the following years, he worked as a postdoc with the Computational Biology Unit, LCSB, and as a project manager with the Integrated Biobank of Luxembourg, assigned to the clinical research projects on Parkinsons disease. His work focuses working on and visual analytics of complex knowledge repositories in systems biomedicine, in particular in Parkinsons disease.
