I am working in the area of doped rare earth manganites. My main objective of research is to study the effect of size mismatch induced quenched disorder in these perovskites especially in thin film form. For this I study magnetic and transport properties using temperature and magnetic dependent resistivity and magnetization. At present, I am studying the impact of substrate induced strain on different magnetic and electric phases in the manganite thin films.
