Professor Tang has extensive teaching and research experience in the tertiary education sector. He has held positions at Brown University, Harvard University, Hong Kong Baptist University, and the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. Professor Tang has published over 120 articles in statistics and biostatistics, and he is an elected member of the International Statistical Institute and serves on the editorial boards of several international statistics, mathematics and medical informatics journals.
