个人简介
As a Senior Member Research Staff at IBM, I apply my expertise in quantum hardware, systems and forms of error suppression (e.g., QEC and error mitigation) to advance the field of quantum computing. I have over 20 years of experience in applied physics and electrical engineering, with a focus on superconducting and semiconductor qubits, device metrics, characterization, qiskit multi-qubit experiments/simulation and system architecture with some overlaps with more classical semiconductor device fab and design.
I have a successful record of leading and contributing to multi-project, multi-million dollar efforts in quantum computing, both in academia and industry. I have published over 100 refereed journal articles and patents, with over 3000 citations (h-index = 31), and served on multiple advisory boards and conference committees. I have also mentored and advised masters and PhD students from various universities, and taught as an adjunct professor.
