My main field of interest is in conservation biology and community ecology, specifically, understanding the impact of habitat degradation and climate change on montane communities in Southeast Asia. I also have an interest in the ecology of invasive species, their impacts on native wildlife and humans and their management. Last, I have an interest in behavioural ecology, in particular, investigating why birds participate in mixed species flocks.
