个人简介
Majid Javanmard is associate professor of Food Hygiene & Quality Control. Since
2004, he is academic staff of Iranian Research Organization for Science &
Technology (IROST). Dr. Majid Javanmard areas of expertise include organic
agriculture and farming, emerging technologies in food production and preservation,
food packaging, food waste and by-products valorization, HACCP implementation
and food security.
More recently, Majid Javanmard has focused his attention on application of
emerging technologies for food waste management and valorization of food by-products as an approach for food security.
Drawing on 20 years of academic research and experience, Dr. Majid Javanmard has
consulted with numerous firms in Iran, Russia and Italy and has taught extensive
courses and workshops in Asia, Europe and Africa. Prior to joining IROST, Majid
Javanmard was researcher at Aquatic Food Reference Lab from 2001-2003 in charge
of export certification of fish and seafood products. In addition to his academic
experience, he worked with agricultural private sector and food companies in
organic production as consultant.
