Prof. (Dr.) D.K. Maheshwari, Ex-Vice Chancellor, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar, acted Dean, Faculty of Life Science and Head, Department of Botany and Microbiology for several tenures during his service in the University. Prof. Maheshwari is an active worker in the field of Plant-microbe interaction and his specialization lies in Rhizosphere Microbiology evidenced by publications in leading peer-reviewed Journals and Books so far. Prof. D.K. Maheshwari is nominated the chairman and member coordinator of National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC), Bangalore. Prof. Maheshwari is a recipient of UGC-BSR Eminent Fellowship for motivation and continuation of research.
