I work as a Therapeutic Biochemistry Professor at the National Research Centre, Egypt. I have been the Head of the Dept., and then Deputy at the Pharmaceutical and Drug Industries Research Division. I am interested in the field of investigating therapeutic interventions from natural sources against different diseases. I have supervised more than15 M.Sc .and Ph.D theses and participated in many international, local or internal projects as PI, Co-PI or member. I am a reviewer in many national and international scientific journals. I am currently the PI of an ongoing research project on exploring novel compounds with therapeutic efficacy for management of brain disorders and impaired insulin signalling in Alzheimer's disease. I have participated in many national and international conferences and workshops as speaker or chairperson and have organized several symposium in my institute.
