My research focus is the mechanisms, measurement and treatment of chronic breathlessness. Trial designs include epidemiological population and registry based studies; clinical cohorts; mechanistical studies and multicenter randomized controlled trials. I also head research in the Swedish Registry for Respiratory Failure (Swedevox) - with national longitudinal data on patients treated with CPAP, ventilator or supplemental oxygen in the home.
