Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry (2014) and a Master’s degree in Biochemistry - Biomolecular Methods (2016), both from the University of Aveiro (Aveiro, Portugal). She recently had a research fellow position in the project “RUNNING away from prostate cancer: WALKING throught the molecular basis of physical activity”. Currently, she is developing her PhD research under supervision of Professor Margarida Fardilha and under co-supervision of Professor Susana Loureiro (CESAM, University of Aveiro) and Professor Teresa Herdeiro (iBiMED, University of Aveiro). The project aims to unravel the molecular mechanisms underlying the lifestyle-associated decline in human fertility.
