个人简介
Madhuri Vinchurkar received the Ph.D. degree in radiation chemistry from the University of Pune, India, in 1998. She was a Visiting Scholar with the Radiation and Genome Stability Unit, MRC, U.K. From 1999 to 2001, she was a Visiting Fellow in the area of photochemistry with the Chemical Sciences Division, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, India. She worked in the area of biophysical chemistry with the Institute of Chemistry, Academia Sinica, Taiwan, as an Academia Sinica Post-Doctoral Fellow, from 2002 to 2005. She was an Assistant Project Scientist with the Department of Applied Science, University of California at Davis, USA, from 2006 to 2008, working in the area of soft condensed matter. As a DST Project Scientist since 2011, she has been working in the area of development of MEMS-based sensors for societal applications at the nano-electronics facility with the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay, India. She has successfully demonstrated the POC for low cost, label free MEMS-based portable CTC biosensor and is currently working on the development of affordable sensors for agricultural applications.
