Mohammad Sabaeian received the M.Sc. degree in atomic and molecular physics and the Ph.D. degree in optics and laser physics from Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran, in 2003 and 2008, respectively. His Ph.D. research areas were thermal effects in high-power solid-state and fiber lasers. In 2008, he joined the Shahid Chamran University (SCU) of Ahvaz, Ahvaz, Iran, where he was an Assistance Professor of Physics with the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science. He developed Atomic and Molecular Research Laboratory, established the Electro-Optics Research Laboratory, and founded the Center for Research on Laser and Plasma in 2016. Since 2016, he has been an Associate Professor of Physics (Laser and Optics. His main research interest includes design and construction of solid-state and gas lasers and other intense light systems and study the light--matter interaction in strong-field-pulsed laser regime, also focusing on nanophotonics, especially metallic and graphene plasmonic.
