Dr. M. Kennedy Hall's research studying healthcare utilization occurs at the intersection of informatics, emergency diagnostic imaging, and value-based care. During his residency, he became interested in health-care utilization work as he witnessed a variety health conditions in need of a newer approach to match with the changing priorities of health care due to advancements in the delivery of the care we provide. He honed the ability to study these approaches during his health-services research fellowship leveraging robust statistical approaches, as well as completing a point-of-care ultrasound fellowship. He feels fortunate to be have joined as faculty here at the University of Washington, with so many other bright people who are all here to provide the highest quality of care possible.
