Markku Jaakko Kauppi

I am a MD (1983), PhD (1992; topic of the thesis: The Rheumatoid Cervical Spine), specialist in Internal Medicine (1990), rheumtatology (1992), pain treatment and rehabilitation. I was the head of the rheumatology (2001-2010) in the Rheumatism Foundation Hospital, Heinola, Finland. From 2010 I have been the head of the rheumatology department in the PHC Hospital, Lahti, Finland. A professor of rheumatology Tampere University 2014-2019 and now a professor of rheumatology in Helsinki University.
