Michael Chew

Dr Michael Chew is a visual action-researcher, photographer and environmentalist with degrees in Participatory Design, Mathematical Physics, Social Theory, Art Photography and Social Ecology. He co-founded the NGOs Friends of Kolkata, and Friends of Bangladesh to run international volunteer programmes, and has run participatory storytelling projects across Asia. He completed his PhD in participatory photography and youth environmental behaviour change across global sites.
