Luwen Huangfu received the B.S. degree in software engineering from Chongqing University, Chongqing, China, the M.S. degree in computer science from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, and the Ph.D. degree in management information systems from the University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ, USA. She is currently an Assistant Professor with the Fowler College of Business, San Diego State University, San Diego, CA, USA, where she is also with the Center for Human Dynamics in the Mobile Age. She has authored/coauthored more than 30 scientific articles in venues, such asIEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IJCAI, ACM MM, Journal of Medical Internet Research, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Journal of Systems and Software, and Information Processing and Management. Her research interests include business analytics, text mining, data mining, image processing, computer vision, artificial intelligence, and healthcare management.
