Lori A Ponder

Lori A. Ponder received the B.S. degree in psychology from Kennesaw State University in 2002. She entered the medical field a year before graduating, and joined a private practice to manage the psychological testing center and a few years later, she was recruited by a physician to establish a brand new surgical center for Oculoplastics. Following ten years of managing private practices and coordinating surgeries, she was encouraged by those who knew her well to pursue a career in clinical research. She is currently a senior-level, Certified Clinical Research Coordinator for the Department of Pediatric Rheumatology, Emory University School of Medicine, where she has spent close to nine years managing numerous research studies, including clinical trials and translational research projects. She has extensive experience in study development and implementation, regulatory compliance, and patient recruitment and retainment.
