Lola B. Chambless received the B.S. degree in biological sciences from Stanford University, Stanford, CA, USA, in 2001, and the M.D. degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Nashville, TN, USA, in 2005. She completed her residency in Neurological Surgery and fellowship in neurosurgical oncology at Vanderbilt. She also completed a fellowship in minimally invasive neurosurgical oncology at the Centre for Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery in Sydney, Australia. She is currently an Associate Professor with neurological surgery and radiation oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is also the Residency Program Director with Neurological Surgery at Vanderbilt and is currently serving as a Member-at-Large for the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) co-chairing the CNS Leadership Institute.
