个人简介
My research projects involved the development and evaluation of technical methods in ergonomics, which can be convenient to use and of lower cost compared to traditional technical systems. These include:
a freely-available iPhone application for measurement upper arm movements -- ErgoArmMeter a wearable system embedded in smart clothes for measuring and assessing the postures of upper arms and trunk -- the Smart Workwear system, a smartphone application connected with wireless IMU sensors for wrist velocity assessment of hand-intensive work (currently being developed).
In addition, I also look at how to use these wearable systems and provide feedback to workers in order to improve their work technique and reduce undesirable strains on the body.
