个人简介
Lior Medina received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from Tel-Aviv University in 2010, 2012, and 2018, respectively. His M.Sc. thesis was on the subject Symmetry breaking in electrostatically loaded curved bistable micro beams, and Ph.D. thesis dealt with bistable microstaucutres under electrostatic loading. Both theses were conducted under the combined supervision of Prof. Slava Krylov and Prof. Rivka Gilat. With a successful application to Tel-Aviv University–Northwestern University joint postdoctoral fellowship in March 2018, he moved to Northwestern University in October 2018, as a Postdoctoral Fellow, conducting research on Kirigami structures. In October 2019, he relocated to the University of Cambridge, following a successful application to the Blavatnik postdoctoral fellowship. He is currently engaged in research dealing with stability and behavior of complex micro-meta-structures under electrostatic loading.
