Biologist, Post-doctoral fellowship of the Botany Department, at the Biosciences Institute of the University of São Paulo (IB/USP). Expertise in the field of plant physiology, with emphasis on macroalgae cultivation, addressing multidisciplinary aspects and working mainly on the following topics: molecular biology, population genetics and phylogeographical studies, ultraviolet radiation (UVB), transmission electron microscopy, and photosynthesis. Extensive experience in the use of molecular analysis programs such as GeneMapper® v4.0 software (Life Technologies Corporation), GenClone 2.0 (Arnaud-Haond and Belkhir 2007), Multilocus ver. 1.2 (Agapow and Burt 2001) and GENETIX 4.05 software (Belkhir et al., 1996-2004), as well as statistical packages such as "R" and Minitab® (2009).
