Lei Zhang

Lei Zhang received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2013. He was a Lecturer with the School of Art and Design, Harbin University, Harbin, China. From September 2011 to August 2012, he was a Research Intern with Siemens Corporate Research, Inc., Princeton, NJ, USA. From July 2015 to September 2017, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the College of Engineering, Temple University, PA, USA, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Biomedical Informatics, Arizona State University, Scottsdale, AZ, USA. From September 2017 to September 2019, he was a Postdoctoral Associate with the School of Medicine, Department of Radiology, University of Pittsburgh. He is currently a Faculty of diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine with the University of Maryland, Baltimore, MD, USA. His current research interests include machine learning, computer vision, visualization, and medical image analysis.
